Men of Character Above & Beyond

Wednesday, May 23rd, the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America hosted the 2007 Men of Character Recognition Dinner at the Disneyland Resort Hotel.
Men of Character Committee Co-Chairman Ralph Linzmeier and Manny Montanez presented eight distinguished men as Orange County's Men of Character recipients: Art Birtcher, John Brown, Dr. Dennis Crockett, Jeff Elghanayan, Rod Neal, Pat Ortiz, Steve Rosansky, and Brian Sullivan. "We acknowledge the great contributions these men have made in their lifetime and are proud to recognize them with this honor," stated Co-Chairman.
Each year, the Orange County Council Boy Scouts of America conducts a countywide search looking for individuals who represent the very moral fiber and character that the Boy Scouts are trying to develop in young men. They are selected from a cross-section of service activities and industries to represent Orange County; Pat Ortiz is a Coto de Caza resident and Dr. Dennis Crockett resides in Rancho Santa Margarita.
"We take great pride in saluting our 2007 Men of Character and we thank them for supporting the development of future young men," states Co-Chairman Linzmeier and Montanez.
